Emergency & Response

Emergency Response

We aim to have a team on-site within 1–2 hours of your call anywhere in South Florida. Our emergency line is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — including weekends and holidays. You'll always reach a real person, not a voicemail or answering service.

Call us immediately — that's the single most important action. While you wait: (1) Turn off the water source if safe and accessible. (2) Turn off electricity to affected areas if you can do so safely. (3) Move valuables, electronics, and important documents out of the water if you can do so without entering standing water. (4) Do not use fans or air conditioning — without professional drying equipment, this can spread moisture and accelerate mold growth.

We serve all of South Florida, including Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Martin Counties — and surrounding communities including Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and more. Call us and we'll confirm coverage for your specific location.

Insurance & Claims

Yes. We communicate directly with your adjuster, provide complete photo documentation and scope of work, and advocate on your behalf throughout the claims process. We're experienced with all major insurance carriers operating in Florida and understand what's required to support a clean, complete claim.

Call us first. Every hour of delay increases damage — water spreads, mold develops, and soot etches surfaces deeper. We begin emergency mitigation to stop the damage from worsening, then assist you in notifying your insurer with proper documentation. Most policies require "prompt notification" after a loss — calling us immediately satisfies that requirement.

We work with clients on a private-pay basis as well. We'll provide a transparent written estimate and work with you on a plan. We don't change our standards based on how a job is paid — every project gets the same quality and documentation.

Our Services & Process

IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) sets the industry's technical and professional standards for restoration. IICRC certification means our technicians have completed training and passed examinations in their specific disciplines — water damage restoration (WRT), applied microbial remediation (AMRT), and fire/smoke restoration (FSRT). Insurance companies and courts recognize IICRC standards as the benchmark for proper restoration practice.

ITD handles all restoration work in-house — including roofing, which most restoration companies subcontract out. This gives you one point of contact, eliminates the coordination problems between contractors, and means we stand behind every aspect of the job. In rare cases requiring highly specialized trades (e.g., licensed electricians), we coordinate vetted licensed subcontractors with full oversight.

Always. We provide a complete written scope of work and estimate before non-emergency work begins. For emergency mitigation, we start immediately to prevent further damage and follow up with full documentation — because every hour matters in an active water or fire situation.

We don't consider a job complete until you do. Every project ends with a final walkthrough with you present. We review our moisture readings, air quality results, and completed work against the original scope. If anything doesn't meet your expectations, we address it before leaving. You sign off. That's when we're done.
